Tickets are on sale now for Axbridge Pageant 2022;

This spectacular historical re-enactment in the small Mendip town of Axbridge, near Cheddar. Involves a cast of more than 400 local people, this once-in-a decade event brings two thousand years of history to life in a unique open-air costumed drama.

From the Saxon’s to the present day, the Pageant charts the centuries, celebrations, confrontations and controversial characters which have shaped Axbridge’s rich past.

The two hour long performances, staged in the town’s medieval square, span vibrant scenes including King John’s hunting party, the Monmouth Rebellion, the Elizabethan Charter, the Coming of the Railway and the impact of the World Wars.

NOTICE – RAIN , COVID AND REFUNDS

Please note in the event of rain causing the cancellation or abandonment of a performance of the Pageant 2022 the following applies:

1. For heavy rain it MAY be possible to give a refund of the ticket(s) but this CANNOT  be guaranteed.
2. For light rain or drizzle while we intend to continue to try and perform, this may not be feasible and there will be NO REFUNDS  of tickets.

COVID.

In relation to the coronavirus the organisers reserve the right to cancel the Pageant at anytime and  on short notice athough every effort will be made to do so with reasonable notice.

If we have to cancel well in advance it MAY be possible to offer ticket refunds but this CANNOT  be guaranteed. Otherwise we are sorry but there will be NO REFUNDS.

Children to be under 16 on the date of the performance
